To move forward, we need to verify your identity using a secure real-time process. This usually takes only a few minutes and can be completed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Important for Remote Online Notarization
If your appointment is for remote online notarization, you must have the same original physical ID with you and available to show the notary on camera when your video session begins. Completing ID verification now does not replace the requirement to present that original document during the live session.
Accepted Identification
Please review the identification rules below before you begin. Submitting the wrong type of ID may delay your document.
- U.S., Canada, and Mexico citizens: Valid passport, driver’s license, or state/government-issued photo ID.
- All other countries: A valid passport is required. Do not upload foreign driver’s licenses or national IDs, as they will be rejected.
Do not email photos of your ID. For legal compliance and biometric verification, IDs sent by email or chat cannot be accepted and will be deleted. Please use one of the secure options below.
