🌎 Serving U.S. and International Signers | 👥 Online Witnesses | 💬 Multilingual Support
INTERNATIONAL CLIENT ADVANTAGE

International Clients Welcome — No Social Security Number Required

Our platform is built for global use. We rely on secure biometric and passport-based identification instead of SSN-based or credit-file checks, so international clients and U.S. citizens abroad can complete online notarizations even when traditional KBA systems fall short.

The basic rule is simple: if you are a non-U.S. citizen outside North America, you will use a valid passport from any country. U.S. citizens can use a U.S. driver license, ID card, or passport no matter where they are, and many clients in the United States, Canada, and Mexico can also use local government-issued photo ID.

This flexible approach removes the barriers that often prevent foreign nationals and overseas signers from using large national platforms, while keeping your session compliant and secure.

Multilingual Support for Global Signers

Foreign Language Assistance

Clear communication is essential for a valid and compliant online notarization — especially when signers speak different languages.

Our Florida online notary service supports multilingual families, international clients, and cross-border signers who need a clear understanding of their documents before signing.

Spanish Online Notary Florida
Carola Fernandez and Lorena Valdes — Florida Online Notaries Serving Spanish-Speaking Clients Worldwide

Our multilingual support is designed to make online notarization practical for real families, international clients, and businesses with global needs. When signers understand the document and the process, sessions move faster, questions are easier to resolve, and the final notarized record is far more reliable.

If you or your signer will need Spanish-speaking assistance or a certified interpreter, simply let us know when placing your order. Our team will coordinate the required language support in advance so your online notarization remains smooth, clear, and fully compliant from the first connection to the final signature.

Clear language. Proper guidance. Real human support.
Our multilingual team helps ensure every signer understands the purpose, content, and effect of their document — the foundation of a valid, trustworthy online notarization.

What Makes Our Florida Online Notarization Different

The Non-Platform Experience

Family-Owned Florida Service

Direct, personal attention from a dedicated in-house Florida notary — not a call center, ticket queue, or unfamiliar contractor.

Your notary stays with your session from start to finish, ensuring consistency and accountability throughout the entire process.

You can connect with your notary before, during, and after your appointment, creating a smooth, coordinated experience that feels genuinely personal.

A true boutique, Florida-based alternative to national call-center platforms — consistent communication, real accountability, and a notary who knows your file.

Biometric ID Verification

Accessible to Everyone — No SSN or U.S. Credit History Required

Our verification system replaces SSN and credit-based checks with secure biometric and passport-based identification.

Unlike many national platforms that depend on SSNs or credit files, our Florida online notary system uses advanced biometric and passport verification to confirm identity.

This makes the process accessible for non-U.S. citizens, U.S. expats, and clients without a U.S. credit footprint — removing barriers that often block signers on large national platforms.

Florida Document Specialists was one of Florida’s first authorized RON providers, with a long track record of compliant and secure digital notarization.

The Florida Advantage: biometric and passport-based verification — no SSN and no credit check required.

Expertise You Can Trust

Handling Complex Florida Documents

We specialize in statute-specific documents such as wills, trusts, and healthcare directives.

Our remote online notaries in Florida are highly experienced in handling these sensitive documents, each of which
must follow precise procedures unique to Florida law.

Most large national providers either refuse these documents or process them without fully understanding
Florida’s special requirements, often leading to errors discovered only years later when the document is needed.

Benefit from specialized expertise that guarantees document validity and enforces compliance for international use.

Boutique Pricing with Full Transparency

For your convenience, all online notary and apostille services are prepaid. You can find more information in our Terms of Service.

  • Clients in North America (U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico) $25

Per notary stamp. Each signer requires at least one notary stamp.

  • U.S. Citizens Globally $25

Per notary stamp. Each signer requires at least one notary stamp.

  • Non-U.S. Citizens Outside of North America $75

Per signer, includes one notary stamp. Additional stamps are $25 each.

  • Supervising the Witnessing of Electronic Records (§117.285(5), Fla. Stat.) $19

If you use remote witnesses instead of having two witnesses with you in person, and your document includes certain provisions—such as a power of attorney that grants financial and banking powers, a revocable trust with testamentary elements, or a health care advance directive—Florida law requires the notary to perform additional steps. This includes setting up a vulnerable adult screening and asking a series of mandated questions during the video session. Because this is considered an extra notarial act under Florida law, an additional fee applies in addition to the $25 acknowledgment or oath fee. The charge will appear as a separate line item on your invoice.

  • Witness Services $40

For each witness we provide. If you bring your own witness, it's $30 per witness.

  • RUSH Service or After Hours and Holidays Add $60

For expedited notarizations, applicable for appointments made after-hours, on holidays, or for priority handling during regular business hours.

  • ID Verification $5

For those not personally known or without prior ID credentialing.

  • Certified Language Interpretation for Online Notary Session $99
  • Swear-In Service $49

Remote swearing-in of witnesses for court hearings, depositions, etc.

  • 🆕 Optional Verified Vault Access™ $49

Enhance your notarized document with secure, password-protected access to the original signed file, video recording, ID verification, and more — all retrievable with a QR code.

Invoices paid by credit or debit card are subject to a 3% convenience fee.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Below are answers to our most common client questions — from legality and ID requirements to pricing, international access, and technical needs for remote sessions.

Remote Online Notarization lets you meet a commissioned Florida notary by secure video from anywhere. You upload your document, verify identity, and sign while the notary completes the notarial act and applies a digital seal. You receive a tamper-evident, digitally notarized PDF within minutes. Our online notary Florida workflow is fast, secure, and fully compliant.

Yes. A notarization completed by a Florida online notary under Florida law is generally valid nationwide. Some institutions have their own submission rules, so confirm acceptance for your specific document. We can provide technical details or speak with the recipient upon request.

No. You can be anywhere in the U.S. or abroad. Florida law allows our commissioned notaries to notarize for signers worldwide as long as ID and legal requirements are met. You just need a device with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, and valid ID.

No. Florida Document Specialists uses secure biometric and passport-based identification that allows non-U.S. citizens, green card holders, and U.S. expats to complete notarizations seamlessly. We do not require a U.S. Social Security Number or U.S. credit history.

Read our detailed guide for foreign nationals.

Use a current (or issued within the past five years) government photo ID. We accept U.S. passports; passports from any country; driver licenses/IDs from any U.S. state or territory, Canada, or Mexico; USCIS IDs; and U.S. Uniformed Services IDs. If none apply, two credible witnesses can verify your identity under oath. We’ll guide you to the best option.

For U.S. citizens anywhere in the world, the fee is $25 per notarial act plus $5 for ID verification per signer (waived if already on file). For non-U.S. citizens outside North America, add a $50 international fee per signer. Please see our Pricing section for full details.

Our Florida online notary team is available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Need help outside those hours? Priority-RUSH service is available evenings, weekends, and most holidays.

Interpreter sessions are secure three-way audio/video with the notary, signer, and interpreter. This service typically requires 24 hours’ notice and is $99 per session, plus standard notary fees.

Yes. We have Spanish-speaking notaries available for complete Spanish-language sessions. For other languages, we arrange a certified interpreter.

Yes, with conditions. Witnesses must pass the same identity checks, have unique email addresses, and use a device with a camera and microphone. Witnesses must be physically in the United States during the session. A $30 fee applies per outside witness.

Usually within two minutes of completing the session. We can also send the notarized file directly to a third party (e.g., title company, attorney, or agency) upon request.

Yes. We frequently notarize deeds, closing documents, and lender packages online. Our Pactima platform is MISMO-certified, meeting industry standards for security and eClosing compatibility. Because some underwriters or lenders have platform preferences, confirm acceptance with your title/closing agent in advance.

We are Florida’s first authorized RON provider and operate on a MISMO-certified platform (Pactima). Our team handles complex documents daily, supports international signers without SSNs or credit history, and provides direct, responsive support — no call centers. A+ BBB rating and hundreds of 5-star reviews reflect our reliability and care.

Most sessions take 2–5 minutes once everyone is connected and ready. Single-page affidavits are often under three minutes; complex closings or estate documents may take longer to allow for proper witnessing and review.

Very secure. We use biometric ID verification, tamper-evident PDFs, cryptographic digital certificates, encrypted transmission/storage, and full audio-video recording. Every step follows Florida RON law and industry best practices.

A notarial act is typically an acknowledgment or an oath/affirmation (jurat). Your document needs correct notary block language. While we cannot choose the act for you, we will explain the options so you can decide and we will ensure the block is Florida-compliant.

Most documents that can be notarized in person can be notarized online, including affidavits, real estate documents, business forms, and travel consents. Yes. Florida Document Specialists can notarize your durable power of attorney (DPOA) through Remote Online Notarization. Before scheduling, please review our specific DPOA policy, since certain requirements may apply — especially if the signer is considered a vulnerable adult under Florida law. In those cases, witnesses must be physically present with the signer during the online session.

If you don’t yet have a DPOA prepared, we also provide nonlawyer document preparation services for simple estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and advance directives. Our notaries ensure every online DPOA notarization follows Florida’s legal standards precisely, so your document is valid and enforceable.

No. We cannot accept incomplete documents or loose signature pages for RON. Your document must be complete and assembled before the session. If you are unsure, we can review it in advance.

No. Florida’s HSMV Form 82042 requires a physical inspection of the vehicle, so VIN verification cannot be done via RON. Check with local law enforcement, a tax collector’s office, or a licensed dealership.

RON produces a digital signature and electronic notary seal. If a wet-ink copy is required by the recipient, we can produce a certified true copy package with a wet signature and ink stamp, then mail it to you or a third party. The service is $25 plus postage.

After notarization, we can record the deed electronically through our eRecording service with the county clerk. This means your document can be prepared, signed, notarized, and officially recorded — all without leaving your home.

Yes. Our international clients regularly use our service from countries such as Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Brazil, and others. As long as the document is related to a U.S. transaction or intended for use in the U.S., we can notarize it online legally and securely.

The international fee applies only to non-U.S. citizens who are physically located outside North America (the United States, Canada, Mexico, or U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
